I bought the 5m leash for my cousin (in her 60s) whose boisterous large dog needed gentle walking after surgery. She loved it! And she can now see taking the dog out when riding her bike. She is very happy. I am going to take them overseas to family when I travel next year, as gifts for their dogs.
The dog, 5 month large pup, didn't blink an eyelid when attach to the new leash. He now is very aware of the leash length. Previously he was happy to hit the slip leash limit without much thought. He now behaves much more sensibly. So, very pleased with its effect on him.
I have two German short haired pointers , I have tried numerous different style leads with absolutely no luck just constantly pulling and holding on for dear life on walks to the point it was no longer enjoyable. This is the first leash that has worked 100% for us !!! I could not believe how effective it was,

I got this lead after I saw my neighbour using it on her dog with great success. It really is very effective. I use it on my dog because she was barking and excitable when around other dogs and out socially. Now with the lead on she has stopped barking, and is more relaxed when out and about in company.
It is so much easier to take my Gsp- Monty for a walk with Hip Slip Leash, I feel more relax (no more in tense) and he looks happier too. :) The material is tough, well-made. Super friendly customer service.. AAA+++
It certainly makes our pup think twice about pulling, however, the leash/rope could be a bit thicker. It feels like it would burn my hand if pulled hard.

I wanted to really take the hip slip through a few weeks of walks before leaving a review, and I'm happy to say this has been an absolute game changer for my kuri and I. I've always preferred walking him in off leash areas rather than on leash due to the relentless pulling (so scent driven!) Now I cannot believe how enjoyable leash based walks are. I'm forever in your debt - thank you so much.
These leads are incredible, walks are no longer a wrestle, just wish I'd had them when training my younger dog! Even took our dogs to Mitre10 a couple of weekends ago, wouldn't have dreamed of taking the dynamic duo there prior to having these leads! Can't recommend enough 👍
As an older woman who does not have a dog but likes to be out with family walking their dogs, this leash gives me confidence - I have such good control, and the dogs are happier than with any other leash system I've seen or used.
We have always struggled with my dog pulling when we walk her. I have tried positive reinforcement training with some success, but some breeds are just harder to train. I don’t like the idea of choker chains or shock collars so when I saw this I was super impressed. It worked immediately and didn’t make my pup uncomfortable in any way. Gotta love kiwi ingenuity!
